Participation in industry bodies

Kobolde works closely with industrial bodies involved in steel production or steel use. This has led to
participation in work with:

• SBI, Swedish Steel Building Institute, managing sustainability issues
• SIS as chairmanship for the committee TK209 Sustainable building
• CEN TC350 representing Sweden in European sustainable building standardization
• ISO representing CEN TC350 in Carbon Footprint standardization
• Swedish Ironmasters Association, JERNKONTORET, representing SBI in product ecology matters

These activities provides the mutual benefits of feeding practical industry knowledge into these bodies
while it gives Kobolde a better view of trends and issues in the industry as a whole.
